SENTRAL Charity Carnival 2010
With the spirit of charity and the theme to ‘GO GREEN’, students and staff of Sentral Technology College worked hand-in-hand to organised a fun-filled carnival to raise fund for charitable organisations.
It was held in the College grounds on a fine Sunday, 21 March 2010. Closer bonds were built within the college and the local community as many visitors and passers-by were seen enjoying themselves with the open-air performances while buying from a total of 19 stalls selling food, drinks, handicrafts, souvenirs, games and many more. As the theme of the event was “GO GREEN”, recycling old and unwanted items through the Jumble Sale is a mean to save our environment.
“A person’s junk can be another’s treasure”. Another benefit is that there are many good and useful items are available at very low prices in the Charity Carnival. Invited participating organisations at this event was: St Xavier’s Buddhist Student Society, St Georges’ Young Entreprenuer Club, St Nicholas Home for the Blind, SK Pendidikan Khas Jalan Hutton, SMK Air Itam’s Chinese Orchestra, Angels Media Solution, and The Art of Living.
