Founded by Royal Charter in 1893, the University of Wales is the degree-awarding body for the vast majority of higher education students in Wales, as well as for many at other higher education institutions in the United Kingdom and overseas. It currently accredits six university institutions in Wales to award its degrees. The University is also the degree-awarding authority for more than 120 other higher education institutions both within the United Kingdom and overseas, with which it also enjoys close links. Annually, it awards around 15,000 initial degrees and more than 4,000 higher degrees, making it the second largest degree-awarding body in the United Kingdom. The number of students, from all over the world, pursuing University of Wales degrees is around 70,000, and their studies cover a wide range of subjects.

Entry requirement:

For admission into the programme, applicants should have
• A pass in STPM with Two Principals; or
• A-Level with 2 passes; or
• Senior middle III UEC with a minimum of 5 Bs' and pass in English; or
• Matriculation with CGPA 2.0; or
• Completed and passed a Foundation programme from Public or Private Higher Education Institutions
recognized by MQA or any other equivalent qualifications; or
• Diploma (non-computing) with CGPA 2.5; or
• Professional Qualification (CAT / LCCI & others)
• SPM English/MUET/IELTS 6.0
• Credit in SPM Mathematics
