The School of Education & General Studies, SENTRAL College Penang, successfully organised the Academic Gallery Walk 2026 on 12 and 19 October 2026, featuring Diploma students from the LAE3113/3103 Academic English module. The event was organised and coordinated by Ms. Suriati, the lecturer teaching the module.

The event provided a platform for students to showcase their research, critical thinking, creativity and academic communication skills through engaging presentations on various contemporary issues. Working in pairs, students transformed their research findings into informative academic learning boards, incorporating interactive activities to encourage audience participation and meaningful discussions.

Throughout both sessions, students demonstrated their ability to communicate academic ideas, present evidence-based arguments and respond to questions from visitors. Three award categories, Best Presenters, Best Academic Board and Most Interactive Station, recognised their outstanding efforts and creativity.

Beyond an academic assessment, the Gallery Walk offered valuable experiential learning opportunities, helping students develop confidence, teamwork, public speaking and audience engagement skills.

Heartfelt appreciation goes to all lecturers, staff and students for their participation and support. Congratulations to all presenters for their dedication and enthusiasm in making the event a success!
