Common Good Scholarship MoU Signing Ceremony
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between SENTRAL College Penang and Buddhist Tzu-Chi Society Malaysia on 26 July 2023. The objective of this MoU is to make a collaborative initiative to provide Common Good Scholarship to deserving students who are pursuing the Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECE) at SENTRAL.
The ceremony was successfully completed at Tzu Chi Education Centre, Penang. A total of 23 SENTRAlians were led by Dr. Chiang Geok Lian – Principal/ CEO during the momentous day.
DECE is designed for those who genuinely love children and are passionate about teaching. With this Common Good Scholarship program, both SENTRAL and Tzu Chi aim to achieve the spirit of humanistic culture, enthusiasm for early childhood education, and care for the impoverished and vulnerable groups, as well as to assist in enhancing the societal level of education.
SENTRAL will foster closer bonds with Tzu Chi to drive our future generation towards realizing their dream; thank you Mr Koay Chew Poh – CEO of Buddhist Tzu Chi Merit Society for gracing the event.
