Intercultural Management Excursion to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

SENTRAL college Penang BSc (Hons) in Business Management, Accounting & Finance and Business IT students of Intercultural Management excursion to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam from 4/11/18 to 7/11/18.

It was an amazing experience for the students to visit historical sites such as Saigon Central Post Office, Notre Dame Catheral and Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, is a landmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It was designed by architect Ngô Viết Thụ and was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

On the second day, the students got the chance to take the modern motor boat as well as the traditional rowing boat across the Mekong river and had the opportunity to visit the Bee Farm, Coconut Candy Factory as well as the Tropical Fruit Farm. On the third day, also a day full of fascinating history and culture, the students had the opportunity to experience some of the hardship the Vietnamese soldiers went through during war by crawling inside the Cu Chi tunnel.

All in all, the students had gained the experience to see for themselves the main economic incomes as well as taboos in the businesses of Saigon.
