On 24/6/2025 the School of Computing & IT hosted an insightful Cybercrimes Awareness Session featuring Dr. Vaithegy Doraisamy, Senior Lecturer from USM’s School of Computer Sciences. With expertise in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and IoT, Dr. Vaithegy exposed modern digital threats and shared vital protection strategies.
Students engaged in interactive scenario analyses, tackling real-world cyber challenges to sharpen their critical thinking and threat detection skills. This hands-on experience bridged theory with practical knowledge—preparing them for the evolving digital landscape.
