Learning Beyond the Classroom: Exploring Customs Administration
Our students enjoyed an engaging learning experience at SENTRAL College Penang on 6 October 2026 through a sharing session titled “The Evolving Landscape of Customs Administration”, featuring Tuan Azral from Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia.
Students gained valuable insights into Customs rules and regulations, tariffs, customs valuation and taxation, along with real-life cases and experiences from the field.
The session also featured a hands-on Customs inspection simulation, where students took on different roles and experienced a simulated airport inspection, including checking parcels and examining goods. This interactive activity allowed them to put their learning into practice and gain a glimpse into real-world Customs procedures.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, giving students the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker.
