Pokemon Go Island Air Itam Project
Fulfilling the role of a responsible corporate citizen, SENTRAL College Penang has always placed sustainability as core to its business strategy. As such, the College voluntarily collaborated with the Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) and the Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUIN), Air Itam Service Centre in the Pokémon Go Island Air Itam Recycling Project, sponsored by Top Group Life Planning. The primary objectives of this project are to raise personal and public awareness of environmental issues, promote the benefits of Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle, and minimize waste in landfills. Additionally, the project established an influential platform for community recycling in Air Itam, working towards a shared zero-waste future. This aligns with Penang2030 vision of making Penang – “A Family Focused, Green, and Smart State that Inspires the Nation”.
