Visit to the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN)
On 9 June 2023, a group of students and academicians visited the State Legislative Assembly / @DewanUndanganNegeriPulauPinang. The visit was part of the Mata Pelajaran Umum (MPU) extracurricular activities which enable student to not just learn inside the classroom.
In the first half of the visit, students went through a short briefing on the state’s legislative practice. In the second half, students had the opportunity to speak with the Speaker of the Penang State Legislative Assembly, Dato’ @lawchookiang. Dato’ provided significant insights into the legislative process in Penang.
