Time spent in nature has been found to reduce stress, boost energy and immunity and improve self-esteem. It is touted to even increase creativity, curiosity and problem solving ability. Hiking is one such activity. On 3/8/19 the School of Computing & IT and the CIT Club organized a Merdeka Hike up Bukit Jambul Hiking Trail. Despite the distance, difficulty and intensity everyone managed to reach the peak in the true spirit of Malaysia Boleh.
