Educational Trip – Principles of Marketing

In the spell of good weather on the pass Thursday, the students from DBS, DTM and DIA went on an educational trip to Chowrasta Market and Gurney Plaza in conjunction with their Principles of Marketing subject. Throughout the trip to Chowrasta Market and Gurney Plaza, the students are able to carry out a survey to observe the way businesses are done and how the retailers and hawkers promote their products to the customers.

As a part of the assignment which not only includes observing the marketing segment of a business, the students are also expected to collect some information about the cultural and lifestyle of both the significant tourist attraction. Despite the hot weather and difficulties, everyone managed to get their survey done successfully to complete their assigned task.
